Empowering women with the resources to break free from Toxic Abusive Relationships and become shining STARs.
The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS) reports that 24 people every minute become victims of intimate partner violence in the United States. Toxic Abusive Relationships (TAR) leave women – four times more than men – with deep emotional and physical scars. Many remain silent due to fear of retaliation, shame, and the feeling that they won’t be believed.
Sadly, women are taught to endure emotional abuse as acceptable and a sign of strength. This untreated CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) significantly hinders women from seeking help for TAR. Treatment options are critical to stop this vicious cycle of silence.
Seeking support is a powerful step toward healing. Join STAR Network™ to transform scars into STARs (Survivors of Toxic Abusive Relationships). Empower yourself, speak out, and break free from TAR with free and accessible resources from leading experts.
TAR Anon™ is an international fellowship dedicated to supporting STARs through shared experiences, strength, and hope. Our meetings offer a safe space for participants to share their challenges, and – we hope – their encouraging healing stories!
Apart from general meetings, TAR Anon will soon offer specialized women-only sessions, providing a tailored approach to recovery in a safe space to discuss their unique experiences, build self-love, and foster connections within a trauma-informed, neuro-safe, empowering program.
Subscribing to our meetings includes access to the STAR Network Newsletter, providing another meaningful connection to our community.
