The 2026 All-STAR Community Cruise
A reflection on the 2026 All-STAR Community Cruise
Miami → Nassau → Great Stirrup Cay → Miami
From May 1–4, 2026, STAR Network set sail aboard Norwegian Cruise Line on a journey that brought survivors, advocates, clinicians, and families together in a way no conference room ever could. Against the backdrop of the Atlantic — from Miami’s shores to Nassa and the private island of Great Stirrup Cay — healing happened in the most unexpected, human ways.
We gathered on the dock and set sail together — strangers becoming community before the Miami skyline even disappeared from view. The sail-away gathering set the tone: open hearts, open sea.
Nassau welcomed us with sun and warmth. Morning mindfulness sessions gave way to afternoon panels on trauma recovery. TAR Anon and Friends of Bill meetings offered sanctuary for those who needed it most.
Norwegian’s private island was the setting for one of the cruise’s most memorable moments — a STAR Network community gathering, followed by a golden-hour group photo as the sun dipped toward the horizon.
The final morning brought a reflective community circle — sharing what we’d carry home. Gratitude. ew friendships. A renewed sense of purpose. he ocean brought us together; the healing went home with us.
Richard Grannon and Dr. Jamie Huysman brought their thought-provoking dialogue on narcissistic abuse and resilience to the open ocean.
Daily on-board meetings gave attendees a consistent, safe, peer-supported space for sharing and co-regulation throughout the voyage.
Under the stars, survivors shared lived experience with vulnerability and courage — reminding every listener they are never alone.
A STAR community moment on Norwegian's private island — the sunset group photo became an instant symbol of the journey.
The 2026 cruise proved that healing is more powerful when we’re together.
The 2027 All-STAR Cruise is already on the horizon — be among the first to know when registration opens.
Your gift of at least $25 will help us present this transformative experience and continue TAR Anon, our free Virtual Recovery Program for people trying to heal from transgenerational trauma and toxic abuse. Only through your generosity can we bring healing, hope, and lasting global change all around us – creating a less toxic world for our children and our children’s children.
If you do not break the family trauma, the family trauma will break you.
