Richard Grannon Joins STAR Network as STAR Awareness Ambassador to Champion Trauma Healing and Empower Survivors Worldwide

Dr. Jamie Huysman Founder ED and Milena Stankovic Co-Founder

At STAR Network, we are proud to announce Richard Grannon, a renowned coach and influencer in trauma and narcissistic recovery, as our official STAR Awareness Ambassador

Richard’s dedication to educating and empowering individuals impacted by toxic abusive relationships, narcissistic abuse, and Complex PTSD (CPTSD) makes him the perfect voice to amplify this life-saving message.

In a world where trauma often goes unseen, Richard’s mission is clear:

  • raise awareness,
  • empower survivors,
  • and remind influencers of their immense responsibility.

“The content we create can trigger someone without us knowing,” Richard says. “We don’t know what’s happening behind closed doors or in someone else’s yard. That’s why it’s our duty to approach these conversations with empathy and guide people toward safe spaces and healing resources.”

Why Is This So Vital?

The truth is, narcissism and toxic abuse are insidious. They erode our sense of self, leaving us questioning our worth, our reality, and even our sanity.

Survivors often feel trapped in chains that are invisible to the world but devastatingly real to them.

Toxic abusive relationships drain us of self-love, strength, and hope, making it almost impossible to see a way out.

This is why receiving support, accessing resources, and transforming pain into healing is so critical.

At STAR Network, we believe that no one has to remain a victim of their past. A STAR is a survivor – someone who has experienced the pain of a toxic abusive relationship but refuses to let it define them.

A STAR chooses to reclaim their life, to heal, to break free from the chains of abuse, and to rediscover self-love and resilience.

As Richard Grannon so powerfully puts it: “We can transform. We don’t have to stay victims. There is a way to break free and rebuild a life that is truly ours.”

TAR Anon™: A Safe Support Group for Survivors

The STAR Network’s TAR Anon™ is a free, virtual, anonymous, peer-to-peer support group where survivors of toxic abuse, trauma, and narcissistic relationships can find a safe, neuroregulated space to heal.

It is a fellowship of people who understand, share similar experiences, and stand together as they take their first steps toward healing and empowerment.

Dr. Jamie Huysman, STAR Network’s founder and executive director, reminds us why this mission is non-negotiable:

“Awareness, treatment, and support are not optional – they are vital. Trauma, when unacknowledged, seeps through generations, creating cycles of pain. We need to empower survivors to reparent themselves, transform their lives, and end transgenerational trauma. Healing begins when we come together as a community and show survivors that they are not alone.”

The Role of Influencers: Empathy and Responsibility

Richard Grannon’s role as STAR Awareness Ambassador highlights the responsibility influencers have to their audiences.

Triggers can come from anywhere – a post, a video, or even a passing comment – and for someone already struggling, the impact can be devastating.

“If we truly care about our audiences, we must direct them to the resources that can help them heal,” Richard emphasizes.

Influencers have the power to save lives simply by pointing survivors to safe spaces like TAR Anon™, where they can connect with others, receive support, and begin their journey to healing.

As Richard reminds us, “We may not see the struggles someone is carrying, but we can be the bridge that connects them to hope and transformation.”
